This mock-up for the NEWS section shows the issue areas on the left sidebar and the types of news across the top. There are other ways to display the intersection of this information (i.e., issue area & type of news & level of news item) that we can discuss.
Please note that while I do not show the detail on this mock-up, each individual entry would need the following information:
