Size of font on stories

The fonts for the section header (Trenton, New Jersey, USA), story headline, subhead (above the headline), and body text are too small at this point. I don't know enough about how the CSS works to make these changes.
On my screen the font for the body text (see above) appears to be 8 point and should be increased to 10, 11 or 12. I'd also like to make them sans serif (verdana). It would be good if they were the same relative size as the sidebar navigation fonts.
I'll need to learn how to make these changes.
