2008 Bonner Congress Fall Meeting

Engaging Our World

West Virgnia Wesleyan College • Buchannon, WV

October 24-26, 2008

The Fall 2008 Bonner Student Congress Meeting will be held Friday, October 24 through Sunday October, 26 at West Virginia Wesleyan College, located in Buchannon, West Virginia. This year's conference will also be held in conjunction with the annual Engaging Our World Conference, started by a Bonner Scholar and Oxfam Change Leader at Berea College as a student-led conference on social justice issues. Hence, the conference is also open to students who are not part of the Bonner Program and who represent other colleges and universities nationally. We expect that 300-350 students will attend this inspiring conference, where they delve into strategies for engaging in improving the world.

Due to our partnership with WV Wesleyan, Bonner Congress Representatives do not have to pay any fee to attend this conference. (Other students may register for only $55 or $65, depending on the date of registration. See the website at: http://www.wvwc.edu/commservice/eow-home.asp)

Get involved in planning, presenting, and making the most of this student leadership opportunity! You can register now, or submit a workshop. The deadline (preferred) for workshops is October 1, 2008.
