This year, we expect to host 100-150 Congress Reps or other
students representing their campuses for this special leadership track at the meeting. Every Bonner Program
school should try to have two students (or at least one student)
participate in this track, even if he or she is not the regular
Congress Representative.
Highlights of the schedule to follow:
- Professional Development Sessions on topics like micro-finance and youth empowerment.
- Networking time with the organizations and campuses attending Summer Leadership Institute.
- Four elective workshop blocks where you'll have the opportunity to choose from a variety of sessions including:
- Organizing Skills and Strategies
- Replicate This! Programs and Models to Take Home
- Building Community and Partner Capacity
- Serve 2.0 and Technology Tools
- Congress Track
Meetings: there will also be special sessions for Bonner
Directors & Coordinators, addressing program management, the integration of web-based tools (our Serve 2.0 initiative), and other topics.
- Time to relax and network, in the afternoons and evenings
in particular.
- Fun sessions like the Bonner Video Project Red Carpet Showing and the Talent Show.
- Lodging on Campus- Congress Reps
will be housed on campus. Please note that all dorm rooms
HAVE AIR CONDITIONING. All linens, towels, and pillows are being provided.
