This year, we expect to about 100-150 Congress Reps or other
students taking their place at the meeting. Every Bonner Program
school should try to have two students (or at least one student)
participate in this track, even if he or she is not the regular
Congress Representative.
Highlights of the schedule to follow:
Orientation Session-There
will be an Orientation Session for new Reps TBA.
Five elective workshop blocks- Three
during the Summit and two during SLI.
Political engagement reflection
sessions- All students will be a part ofinteractive
civic & political engagement reflection sessions.
Congress Track Meetings- There will be three meetings for Congress Reps.
Time to relax and network, including
Talent Show (emceed by Congress)- There will also
be time to relax and network, in the afternoons and evenings
in particular.
Lodging on Campus- Congress
Reps will be housed on campus. Please note that the dorm
rooms do not have air conditioning. Sheets
and a blanket will be provided, but participants should
bring pillows.
