Understanding the Bonner Program

These resources acquaint you with the structure, expectations, and program features of the Bonner Program. Review the materials online. Ask questions of foundation staff if you have them. Once you have a gist for this information, you won't need to return to it as often as the working documents (tab 2).

Implementing the Bonner Program Expectations

These resources immerse you in planning and managing the structure, expectations, and program features of the Bonner Program. They are working documents that you may want to use in an ongoing way.

Co-Curricular Resources and Implementation Guide

These resources delve into the programmatic features and requirements around the co-curricular structure and student development, including meetings, training & enrichment. Use these as reference material for when you plan specific elements. Share them with colleagues, Congress Representatives, and Senior Interns, especially as they are involved in training & enrichment.

Community Partner Resources and Implementation Guide

These resources delve into the ways to structure, manage, and communicate with community partners. They address our approach to placements that are development for students, challenging them to grow over time. Use these resources in particular to share with community partners through formal orientations, site visits, or in a written binder. Share them with students, colleagues, Congress Representatives, and Senior Interns, who may also be involved in building and sustaining community partnerships.
