Allocation Report
Once each semester or summer's Registrar's List is approved and locked by the Bonner Foundation, the Foundation then generates an Allocation Report which itemizes the amount of funds allocated for each student. For specific information on the dollar amounts for each award, please see the Bonner Scholars Program Rules: Finances.
To work with an allocation report, click on the active semester to bring up the detailed report.
The following grant categories are awarded on a per-student basis, based on the enrollment levels reported on in the Registrar’s List for that term.
FUNDING CATEGORY DEFINITIONS
The amounts are automatically generated and should be reviewed by the BSP Administrator for their accuracy. For specific information on the dollar amounts for each award, please see the Bonner Scholars Program Rules.
To change multiple allocation report amounts, click on the “Change Multiple Values” text button under available actions. This tool allows you to change the overall value for any column (School Year Award, Admin Grant, Community Fund, Summer Living Stipend, Summer Earnings, Junior Bonus, Loan Reduction), for either all students or for a class of students. First select the type of award (column) you would like to change from the dropdown menu.
Step 1: Review/Add/Edit Allocation amounts copy
For the Fall & Spring semesters, the amounts are automatically generated by BWBRS and should be reviewed by the BSP Administrator for their accuracy.
Summer allocation reports are left blank since you must review and approve the summer service budgets submitted by active Bonner Scholars and review Loan Reduction Amounts.
Changing/Entering Amounts
To change individual entries, simply click into the fields and make the change. Be sure to use the Save button on the bottom right of the page to save your changes.
Changing Multiple Values
To change multiple allocation report amounts, click on the “Change Multiple Values” text button under available actions.
This tool allows you to change the overall value for any allocation column for groups of students or for a class of students.
First select the type of award (column) you would like to change from the dropdown menu.
Then select the group of students from the second dropdown menu.
Then enter the new dollar amount in the box
and hit the Save button. This will return you to the allocation report with the changes reflected.
Step 2: Notify Foundation to Review Allocation Report
Once you are satisfied with the numbers in the Allocation Report, use the “Notify Bonner Foundation for Review” text button to request that the report be reviewed and locked.
Once the report is locked, the Foundation administrator will begin processing the allocation letter.
