Approving a Community Learning Agreement
When a CLA is initially entered into the system its status is listed as Proposed. It is your responsibility to approve the CLA so that its status is changed to Active.
To approve a proposed CLA, first click on its name which brings up the CLA detail.
This will open the CLA in full text view, at which point you have two available actions:
- Notify student to edit, and/or print CLA (your email message will indicate which of these actions the student take)
- Approve and activate CLA
If you click the "Notify student to edit and/or print the CLA" text button (above), an email text entry box will appear (below) so you can explain what you want the student to do. Click the "continue" button (below) to send the email notification.
