Main Tabs

The major tabs (in light blue shade when not selected) represent the six areas of the BWBRS system: Main, Profiles, Plans, Logs, Reports, Settings. Each of these is described in more detail below.
When selected, the name of the active tab is highlighted in gold and the tab background color is dark blue.

Sub Tabs

Each of the six main tabs has additional sub-tabs (in dark blue shade when their main selected) separated by a thin white line. The text of the active tab is gold and the background is dark blue.

Login Person & Today’s Date

Underneath the sub-tabs is a two color bar. On the left side with a darker grey background is the users name and the college or university where they are associated. On the right side in lighter grey background is today’s date.

Page Title

Each page has a grey bar that contains the page title. On some pages, you will also directions for page.

Body of Page

This is main part of every page, where the data will be displayed and where forms for entering or viewing data will be found. When you go to print view, this is the content that will be displayed.

Side Bar Menus

The black sidebar text buttons allow you to move to various pages within the section of BWBRS you have selected using the major and sub tabs at the top of the page. A box and yellow arrow indicate the current page selected (changing what shows up in the body of each page. Please note that the red sidebar menu are available only to administrators.

Current Member

The Current Member selector is available only to administrators since students can only view their own information. When you want to work on a particular student’s records, you must first select them here.
Selecting Current Member brings up a list of students in the body portion of the page from which you can select. When a student is selected, their name will be displayed under the Current Member text button.

Current Time Period

The current time period selector affects the contents of certain pages in BWBRS. You can click on the blue Semester/Year text buttons (set to the semester before and after the current time period).

Print This Page

Clicking on this button brings up a printable version of the current page in new window. You can print the page and then close the window to be brought back to the original page.

Quick Date Change

On the right side of the Page Title bar is the current semester/year (i.e., Fall 2004). Placing your mouse over this text reveals a pull-down menu of semester dates. Selecting one of these changes your current time period. On some pages, the data shown in the body will also change as a result of the change in time period.
