Quick Start Guide for Administrators

This Quick Start Guide provides an overview of how Administrators should work with BWBRS.

 

SET-UP AT THE START OF EACH YEAR


 

do the following to set up BWBRS for the coming year school year:

  1. set the calendar dates for the school year
  2. add any new campus advisors who will help administer BWBRS
  3. add any new student profiles, making sure to include the relevant program enrollment information for each student
  4. add new service opportunities and carry forward existing service opportunities for the school year
  5. add new training and enrichment activities for the school year, including those that will be required of their Bonner Scholars or Leaders

 

DURING THE SEMESTER


 

Once the semester has begun, you should use BWBRS during the semester to do the following:

  1. approve Community Learning Agreements that have been submitted in hardcopy form with signatures from the student and their site supervisor
  2. approve Hour Log Reports that have been submitted in hardcopy form with signatures from the student and their site supervisor
  3. monitor student hour logs to ensure that your students are keeping up with their requirements
  4. review service accomplishment entries by your students and view the cumulative service outputs for the semester
