Service Opportunities :

Service Agencies

To add a new Agency, first go to Profiles > Agencies. Clicking the Add text button on the left sidebar brings up the screen below. Every Service Opportunity must have a parent Agency in BWBRS. To make data entry quicker, only the Agency Name field is required, though we encourage you to fill out as much as you are able.

 

The first section asks for basic name and address information.

 

The next section provides more descriptive fields (see below). The options for the field "Level of Partnership Activity" reflect the four-level Bonner community partnership framework. The selection here should reflect the highest level of placement and partnership with each agency.

 

For Primary Issue area the agency works in, you have four choices:

 

For Type of Orgnization, you have three choices:

 

Note that there is a new field to categorize agency by the highest level of partnership activity using the definitions we've employed in the Bonner student development model.

 

Finally, the last section provides you the ability to control when the project is displayed. If you select “no” on the Visible field, then the Agency will not show up on lists seen by students throughout the system.

 

The List & View (opening) page for Agencies allows you to narrow the list by selecting issue area and/or partnership level.
