Enrolling Bonner AmeriCorps Members
The Bonner AmeriCorps enrollment page is much more detailed, as you can see below.

[NOTE: Before you send the blue Enrollment Workbook to the Bonner Foundation, you should use it to put into BWBRS as much of the information as you can. You’ll see that the fields on BWBRS match much of the information provided on the Bonner AmeriCorps enrollment forms.]
The sections of the Bonner AmeriCorps Enrollment web page are as follows:
Available Actions
The only available action on this page is for the campus advisor to send an email notification to the Bonner Foundation regarding the
Enrollment Process Status
With the pull down menu under Enrollment Process Status (above) the Foundation indicates the status of a member's process of enrollment in th e program. The current "case management" options are as follows:
If there are any issues with a members enrollment, they will be flagged (above) and then listed on the Case Management page in the Bonner AmeriCorps Admin Status page.
Current Status
In the current status section (below) we indicate the member’s official status, program type, and grant year.
Enrollment Information
Under Enrollment Information section (above) we indicate when enrollment forms were received at the Bonner Foundation, the enrollment type, enrollment start date, and date enrolled in CNS WBRS (the website for the Corporation for National Service which sponsors the AmeriCorps Program).
Completion Information
Under the Completion Information section (above) the Foundation indicates if the member was ever suspended from (and then reinstated to) the Bonner AmeriCorps Program, their expected completion date, and their actual completion date, and the date they were officially exited from CNS WBRS. If a student takes a leave from the program it is important you notify the Bonner Foundation so we can “suspend” their enrollment in Bonner AmeriCorps and thereby push back their expected completion date; otherwise, they will not be able to complete their AmeriCorps hours in the allotted time period.
Hardcopy Forms
In the Hardcopy Forms section we ask you to indicate what hard copy forms have been signed and sent to the Bonner Foundation. Please use this page as a check list reminder as you are preparing to mail the member's enrollment paperwork. The Foundation staff will then indicate what forms were actually received and if any information or signatures were missing.
Hour Totals
The Hour Totals (below) show Bonner AmeriCorps total hours (a) logged by the student in BWBRS, (b) approved by the campus administrator, (c) signed and received by the Bonner Foundation in hardcopy form, and (d) officially entered into CNS WBRS.
Comments
Note: Bonner Foundation staff will lock this page to prevent further campus input on this page once the member’s paperwork has been received at the Foundation. Foundation staff will update the page as the students progress through the program, so you and they can visit this page to see their status at any time. This information will reflect the official status with the Corporation for National Service for each AmeriCorps member.
Finally, all email notifications between the campus and the Bonner Foundation regarding the individual student enrollment are saved at the bottom of the page.
