Advisor Login/Profile
First, go to Settings > Advisors. To add campus advisors in BWBRS, click on the Add sidebar text button.
GENERAL INFORMATION
The top part of the screen shows a series of standard contact information.
Note: BWBRS requires campus advisors to have an email address.
ADVISOR ACCESS
All campus advisors should be given "School Advisor" access under the Permission pull-down menu. The school advisor has full control over the settings, students, and reporting functions of BWBRS for their campus.
We have yet to program specific permission levels for Group Advisor and Student Advisor levels, so please do not use these.
EMAIL ROLES
The email roles determine what email notifications you will receive from BWBRS. The options are as follows:
- Administrator: this setting is for any staff member who will help administer BWBRS. Administrators will receive most email generated by the system.
- Student Advisor: this setting is for any students who will assist with managing BWBRS, including Bonner Senior Interns and/or work-study students.
- Intern: for now, this setting won’t be any different from student advisor; we will be enhancing the email roles in the future.
BSP Administrative Reporting: the following settings allow the advisor to receive from and send notifications to the Bonner Foundation for the respective reports. We encourage that both the Bonner director and coordinator have each of the Bonner Scholar administrative reporting roles.
- BSP — NSAL & Registrar’s List
- BSP — Change of Status
- BSP — Allocation & Reimbursement Reports
- BSP — Community Fund
- BLP/AmeriCorps Administrator: this setting is for any campus advisor who works with enrolling, exiting, and otherwise tracking AmeriCorps member enrollments.
FEEDBACK SETTINGS
The feedback preference is used to determine where user feedback submissions are directed.
Depending on the option chosen, the email alert will be forwarded as follows:
- Receive none
- Only my students
- Receive when no student advisor
- Receive all new feedback
