System Settings :
Calendar Dates
The calendar settings are critically important to the proper functioning of the Bonner Web-Based Reporting System.
Calendar Type
You begin by setting your calendar type.
Two options are provided for the structure of your academic calendar:
- Fall, Spring & Summer
- Fall, Winter, Spring & Summer
Most schools should use the standard Fall, Spring & Summer option.
Semester Type
Once you've set the Calendar Type, you can then input your semester dates that are the beginning dates for each of the semesters of your academic year (note: the ending dates will be set automatically to be the day before the start of the next semester).
We suggest that you use the first day of orientation for your Fall start date, the first day of classes for your Spring start date, and the day after the last day of classes for your Summer start date. You should be able to find these dates on your campus websites.
The system requires an end date for the last semester of the current academic year, so you will need to at least set the Fall start date for the next academic year. To do this you should use the blue text buttons
just below the Body header text.
Before the start of each academic year should be certain that your semester dates are set accurately. Once the semester begins, you should not change the start date.
