These resources were developed as part of the Bonner Pipeline Project strategic initiative by three of the Bonner Foundation National Summer Interns: Clare Blim, Centre College ’20, Maria Guevara Carpio, Rutgers New Brunswick ’21, and Sara Byler, Waynesburg University ’20, under the supervision and guidance of Bonner Foundation staff and the Bonner Pipeline Project Committee.

There are three series, including:

  • The Inside Scoop of a Civically Engaged Higher Education Career, which explores the lives of civically engaged higher education professionals covering topics such as myths in the field, reflections on identity, advice, staying motivated, and self-care.

  • The Creating Change Agents series, which explores the concept of leadership, covering topics such as navigating power relationships, follower-ship, and finding your own leadership style. You learn from the experiences of diverse professionals and students in the higher education and civic engagement sector.

  • Lastly, the Post-Graduate Pathways series explores topics such as graduate school, year of service programs, pathways into the field, and tips for translating your Bonner experience in the post-graduate world. You hear from professionals in the field including Bonner graduate school national partners and Bonner Alumni.

We will officially “release” one episode per month over the course of the next year; however, all episodes are available now on the Bonner Network Youtube channel, Spotify, and the Bonner Wiki.

If you are a higher education, civic engagement, or non-profit professional, we encourage you to utilize these resources. Watch the full video on YouTube or listen to the Spotify podcast on your morning commute.

Thank you to those of you who helped make these possible, including the Bonner staff, students, alumni, and National Partners who were interviewed.

Happy listening!
