The Fair Election Center’s Campus Vote Project’s Youth Voting Rights Working Group (YVR) has been holding regular meetings for the last nine years on topics at the intersection of young people, voting rights, election administration, and civic engagement. It is a place for school and campus leaders, students, nonprofit staff, and election officials to gather to share research, policy updates, programmatic lessons learned and strategize about how we build a democracy that meets its newest members where they are and welcomes them.

We are excited to introduce Notable Narratives, a nonprofit founded in 2020, seeks passionate first-generation, low-income (FGLI) college students to serve as advisors for high school seniors navigating the college application process. The organization has supported over 1,750 FGLI students to date. The flexible advising program begins August 1st, 2025, and interested students can choose their mentee load.
