Serve901, an initiative of City Leadership, guides immersive service learning trips in Memphis, Tennessee—designed for college groups who want to serve with purpose, learn with depth, and grow as active citizens. Our mission closely aligns with Bonner’s commitment to civic engagement, justice, and community leadership.
Whether it’s fall, winter, spring, or summer break, Serve901 hosts customized trips that connect students with local nonprofits tackling food insecurity, housing insecurity, and education equity. Each experience includes direct service, curated learning moments, and local cultural immersion—like visiting the National Civil Rights Museum or sharing meals with Memphis leaders.
Trips are affordable (starting at $300 per person), include lodging at our 80-bed St. George’s Bunkhouse, and are fully supported by Serve901 staff. We make logistics simple so Bonner directors can focus on mentorship and student growth.
For the 2025–2026 academic year, we’re booking now! We host groups whenever school isn’t in session—weekends, fall break, J-term, spring break, or summer. Most recently, we had the privilege of hosting Sewanee Bonner Leaders at the end of their freshman year—an inspiring kickoff to their long-term service journeys.
