MLK Day of Service 2024 End Hunger Challenge

MLK Day of Service 2024 End Hunger Challenge

Offered by the Congressional Hunger Center, The MLK Day of Service End Hunger Challenge is an online volunteer opportunity where participants spend 15-30 minutes per day, for five days, learning about solving hunger in the United States. The content includes guided lessons, readings from experts, videos, interactive maps, and a lively discussion forum. By participating, individuals honor Dr. King's legacy of taking action to improve communities across the U.S., expand their network's hunger-fighting potential, gain knowledge about U.S. hunger and learn how to advocate for solutions, increase volunteer hours, and network with other participants through the discussion board.

Announcing the Casey Center for Faith and Community Services University Partnerships

We are excited to share the following opportunity from the Edmundite Missions, based in Selma, Alabama. They are looking to host student groups and also to connect with faculty who might be interested in some of the research projects they have in mind, or perhaps other experiential learning opportunities that would fit a course they are teaching.  Their new Casey Center for Faith and Community Services will provide dormitory and learning capacity on their campus in the heart of Selma. See attached PDF here for more details.
