The Future Talks is an initiative by The Future Founders Co. The Future Founders Co. (FFC) intends to build sustainability skills in youth through global partnerships but local contextualization. It engages in collaborations worldwide to ensure its programs resonate with diverse needs and aspirations of today’s youth.

Use your voice to bring attention to the world's biggest issues? The Future Talks is offering a 3-month podcast internship program where you'll learn how to create podcasts about environmental and social causes.

This is your chance to gain skills, make a difference, and be part of a supportive community.

INTERNSHIP ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • Participation Fee: There will be a participation fee once you have been selected to join the program.

  • Age & Time Requirement: Must be between the ages of 18 and 25. Open to applicants from across the world. Must be available for 2 hours during 12:30 PM - 5:30 PM GMT (6 PM - 11 PM IST)

  • Communication Skills: Must be proficient in English, with excellent verbal skills for effective storytelling & audience engagement.

  • Passion for Storytelling: Demonstrated interest in storytelling and content creation.

  • Commitment to Sustainability: A keen interest in sustainability, social causes with a global lens.

  • Excited Learner: Self-driven with a commitment to personal growth and learning.

  • Global Perspective: An interest in global perspectives on issues, aiming to make content that resonates with a diverse audience.

  • Digital Literacy: Familiar with using digital tools and platforms for research, content creation, and communication. Some experience with editing - sound or video is preferred.

  • Creative Thinking: Ability to think creatively and generate innovative ideas for podcast content.

  • Collaborative Spirit: Willingness to work collaboratively with peers and mentors, sharing ideas and feedback.

Time Commitment: 6 hours weekly for 12 weeks

  • 2 hours for sessions

  • 2 hours for live labs

  • 2 hours of self-managed work

  • Session and Lab Structure: Sessions and labs conducted separately

  • Delivery Mode: All sessions will be online

  • Self-Work Focus: Weekly self-work includes reflecting on sessions and technical skills learned, and creating tangible outputs based on these reflections.

*The final schedule will be decided post the internship cohort selection keeping in mind various timezones, exams, festivals and other academic events.
