George Mason University Hiring Program Manager for Engaged Learning

George Mason University is seeking a Program Manager for Engaged Learning to oversee the Bonner Leader Program and support community and civic engagement initiatives!

This position is responsible for directing the Bonner Leader Program, including student recruitment, curriculum development, reflection facilitation, and student learning assessment. The Program Manager will also support the broader work of the Office of Community Engagement and Civic Learning (CECiL) by managing the registered student organization service coalition, facilitating workshops, and supporting the CECiL course designation process. This position will be based in Fairfax, VA (Hybrid eligible workplace).

Required Qualifications

  • Master's/advanced degree or equivalent training and work experience

  • Prior experience with collegiate community and/or civic engagement programs

  • Experience advising or mentoring college students

  • Knowledge of best practices in service-learning, collegiate civic engagement, and community partnership development

  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
