KCET is hiring a Field Coordinator!
Kentucky Civic Engagement Table (KCET)is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization dedicated to supporting and coordinating the civic engagement efforts of our partner organizations that serve communities across Kentucky. We are guided by values of justice and racial equity, and work with our partners to build multi-racial people-power grounded in a shared vision for a Commonwealth where everyone thrives.
We're heading into another election season, and Kentucky Civic Engagement Table (KCET) is looking for a field coordinator to manage day-to-day operations for their civic engagement program. The position will be responsible for the signature voter care and election protection program, Our People Our Vote.
We are looking for a self-starter with strong field experience and attention to detail to manage the day-to-day operations of the organization’s year-round civic engagement programs, in service of building long-term power. The Field Coordinator is a new position that will be responsible for the success of KCET’s signature voter care and election protection program, Our People Our Vote. This program is focused on meeting, engaging, and turning out tens of thousands of “high opportunity” Kentucky voters across the Commonwealth. This position will be at the core of ensuring our organization operates a robust coordinated field program in partnership with our statewide coalition, and will ensure that partner organizations have the training, support, and coaching necessary to run successful field programs. Our ideal candidate will have experience working with and managing coalitions; building and facilitating a civic engagement training curriculum; and supporting leaders and organizers in the field. Knowledge of the changing political landscape of Kentucky and competency in building long-term relationships across race, class, and geography are all valuable assets to this position.
