Registration Open! 2024 Summer Leadership Institute at Oberlin College, June 7-10

The Bonner Foundation is excited to announce that Oberlin College (Oberlin, Ohio) will host the 2024 Summer Leadership Institute from June 7-10.

The Bonner Summer Leadership Institute (SLI) is the largest annual gathering of administrators, students, faculty, field leaders, representatives from national partner organizations, alumni, and others across the national Bonner Network.

As one of the institutions that hosts a founding Bonner Scholar Program, over the past 30+ years Oberlin College has created a culture of engagement involving their Bonner Program, campus centers and departments that support civic learning and community engagement. Oberlin’s place-based work is focused in Lorain County, but it extends to surrounding communities including Cleveland as well as with national and international partners.

The 2024 SLI conference will highlight innovative work at Oberlin and across the national Bonner Network, during all-group sessions, elective workshops, and networking. A networking fair with national nonprofit organizations and graduate schools will showcase scholarships and special benefits for students and alumni. Through these activities, participants will have opportunities to build their knowledge and skills, as well as enjoy a sense of connection to a national movement.

Please see the table for registration options and rates. The on-campus registration fee includes three nights of lodging; eight meals throughout the conference; snacks and refreshments during breaks, social activities, and receptions; and all programming costs. For those who stay off off-campus, the registration fee includes all of the above except for housing. Travel is not included in registration fees. You can pay by credit card or to be invoiced by The Bonner Foundation.
