The Kresge Foundation, one of the top 20 largest private foundations in the U.S., is excited to announce that applications for our 2025 Summer Internship Program are now open!
The Kresge Foundation works to expand opportunities for people with low incomes in America’s cities through grantmaking and social investing. With a staff of over 100 employees, they are committed to supporting communities in areas such as arts and culture, education, health, environment, human services, and place-based work in cities like Detroit, Memphis, and New Orleans.
Why Join Kresge as a Summer Intern?
The foundation is offering summer internship opportunities for undergraduate and graduate students interested in learning more about philanthropy and joining in their mission of expanding equity and opportunities in America’s cities. While at Kresge, summer interns are integrated into departments and work closely with foundation staff to experience what it is like to work in philanthropy as a grantmaker or an operational team member.
