The NJ Coalition to End Homelessness is seeking full time Housing Readiness Coordinators for our AmeriCorps Housing Readiness Initiative! Housing Readiness Coordinators serve with a homeless shelter or outreach provider in New Jersey to help people experiencing homelessness become housing ready.
This role involves working with clients to overcome barriers to access housing, including acquiring identity documents, learning to be a satisfactory tenant, accessing a reliable source of income, and developing skills to be financially ready for housing. If you are passionate about housing and serving others, we want to hear from you!
Positions available in the following NJ counties: Bergen, Burlington, Camden, Cumberland, Essex, Hudson, Mercer, Middlesex (pending), Morris, Passaic, and Union.
