Stetson University Hiring Two Bonner & Center Positions!

The Center for Community Engagement’s (CCE) creates opportunities for student learning through community impact – utilizing internships, research, and projects that align students’ academic and career goals with the goals of our community partners. The CCE plays a lead institutional role in directing a nationally recognized campus-wide community engagement program that is delivered through both curricular and co-curricular avenues. The Center for Community Engagement at Stetson University is seeking two new positions: Associate Director for the Center for Community Engagement and Bonner Program Director, and Assistant Director of the Bonner Program. Both positions listed below are in person in DeLand, Florida.

Associate Director for Center for Community Engagement/Bonner Program Director

The Center for Community Engagement (CCE) is seeking a permanent Associate Director for the Bonner Program. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for the growth, continuity, and excellence of our 60+ Bonner students and 20+ community partners.

Start Date: July 1, 2026 (Permanent/Full-Time)

Focus: Bonner Program operations, student leadership development, and strategic community partnerships.

Requirements: Direct Bonner Program experience and a deep understanding of its unique developmental model and philosophy.

Bonner Program Assistant Director

We are seeking an Assistant Director for the Bonner Program to manage day-to-day operations and create meaningful student learning opportunities through community impact. This role coordinates the four-year developmental curriculum and strengthens collaborations between students, partners, and the university.

Start Date: July 1, 2026 (Full-Time Staff)

Focus: Student advising, placement matching, reflection facilitation, and program logistics (First-Year Trip, Sophomore Exchange, and Junior Capstones).

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree and a minimum of 3 years of experience in community engagement, student affairs, or related fields.

Ideal Candidates: We are looking for someone with strong organizational skills, proficiency in student engagement technology (e.g., GivePulse), and a commitment to social justice. Previous experience as a Bonner Scholar or Leader is highly preferred.
