Join us from June 7-10 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, to engage with over 300 students, staff and administrators, faculty, community partners, alumni, national nonprofits, and graduate school partners across the Bonner Network.
Common Ground USA has open applications for their student journalism cohort as well as open registration for their Administrator Boot Camp. The Boot Camp is free program designed for Bonner staff and faculty to help higher education leaders navigate campus conflicts effectively. Participants will engage in six online sessions to develop skills in crisis de-escalation, collaborative conversation, and trust-building, with the goal of enhancing campus cohesion and resilience. The Student Journalism Cohort is a paid national fellowship for student journalists to humanize differences and highlight solutions to shared problems.
Stetson University is hiring two key positions within the Bonner Program: an Assistant Director to manage daily operations and enhance student learning through community engagement, and an Associate Director to oversee program and campus-wide excellence and partnerships. Both roles are aimed at fostering meaningful experiences for Bonner students and strengthening ties with community partners, with a start date of July 1, 2026.
Stetson University (DeLand, FL) is seeking an interim program director for their campus-based Bonner Program. This position will run from January to May 2026 and applications will be reviewed on a rolling basis. They are looking for someone with hands-on Bonner Program experience – perhaps a former Bonner coordinator, graduate assistant, or campus professional who has worked closely with a Bonner Program and understands its unique structure and philosophy.
Stetson University is hiring an Associate Director for Dialogue & Civic Action and a Graduate Assistant. The Associate Director role involves leading dialogue-based programs, administering social action trainings for students and high schoolers across Florida, and supervising a Graduate Assistant focused on student outreach. The position reports to the Director of Community Engagement and is located at Stetson University in DeLand, Florida. The salary is around $45-46k, depending on qualifications. The role is ideal for skilled listeners and facilitators with strong event planning abilities who believe in dialogue and youth-driven change. The priority application date is June 23, with a hoped-for start date in July 2024, but no later than August. Additionally, a Graduate Assistant position is available, ideal for recent Bonner graduates seeking a master's degree while engaging non-Bonner students in community work.
