Warren Wilson College, located in Asheville, NC, welcomes applications for the Bonner Program Manager position. Under the leadership of the Associate Dean of Community and Global Engagement and the Associate Director of Community Engagement, the Bonner Program Manager will oversee the Bonner Leaders Program. The program is part of a national civic engagement leadership program sponsored by the Bonner Foundation. Since 1990, the Bonner Foundation has built partnerships within higher education institutions to foster deep integration of college access, diversity, and inclusion. In addition to the management of this program, the Bonner Program Manager will support the Associate Director and Associate Dean in managing the college’s community engagement requirement, including building relationships with community organizations, with an emphasis on building and maintaining partnerships with organizations that serve BIPOC communities. Other responsibilities include advising and outreach to students and employees, and providing substantial support for the office’s annual events, including Service Day and Community Engagement Awards. This position will supervise one or two Americorps VISTA positions, as well as 20-25 part-time Bonner Leader student workers during the academic year.
